Sarah El-Farargy is the YYI Girls Youth Co-ordinator. She is involved in the development and growth of the Youth Wing of YYI. The programme is designed to encourage values of compassion, generosity, justice and fairness with its members.
She was instrumental to the Sponsor the Orphan Project in which the young children raised over £12,000 for orphans around the World. She now plans to work in partnership with Islamic Relief to lead in community projects such as soup kitchens, visiting the elderly, qurbani project and a proposed YYI School in Malawi.
Sarah sits on the board of Directors at YYI and has been involved with the organisation since 2005. She has been a long standing community figure and currently sits on the National Muslim Youth Work Strategy Forum.
Sarah hopes to pursue her career efforts in Humanitarian work Worldwide. Sarah can be reached at sarah@yyi.org.uk
